<p>The invention relates to a method and a forming apparatus for deforming a hollow workpiece having at least one open end, wherein the workpiece is clamped down in a clamping device, a first forming tool is placed into contact with the outer surface of the workpiece, said workpiece and said tool are rotated about an axis of rotation relative to each other and said workpiece is deformed by means of said first tool. A second forming tool is placed into the cavity defined by the workpiece and into contact with the inner surface of the hollow workpiece, after which the workpiece is deformed by means of said second tool.</p> |
