ENHANCERS OF WOUND HEALING

A composition comprising potassium solution is provided to heal wound by reviving keratinocytes, minimize scar generation and second infection by rapidly healing the wound, and reduce the costs of wound healing by increasing expression of epidermal growth factor without addition of epidermal growth factor. A composition for wound healing comprises potassium(K^+) solution which is prepared by ionizing KCl solution and optionally comprises pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, wherein the mole concentration of K^+ in K^+ solution is 25mM-1M; and the potassium(K^+) solution induces changes of membrane potential by controlling potassium channel in cells, and controls apoptosis and cell mobility, thereby promoting wound healing.
