A method for treating the severe craniocerebral injury in the setting of the limited facilities and financing represents the algorithm of the medical care. Right after the admission to the hospital, decongestion is performed (L-lysine escinate 0.1% 10 mL + physiologic saline 20 mL intravenously in slow stream mode twice a day for the adults with average body mass of 80 kg, when necessary, supplemented with mannitol infusions and Lasix injections according to the conventional schedules). At the same time, the hemostatic therapy is initiated (aminocaproic acid 5% 100 mL intravenously dropwise twice a day for three days and Dicynon 12.5% 1 mL intramuscularly thrice a day for three days). The upper part of the patient's body is in elevated position (due to the raised head-end of the bed). The sanitation of the upper airways is performed. The normal oxygen blood saturation is maintained. When the increasing symptoms of the intracranial hematoma are evident, the diagnostic openings in the skull are milled. When the diagnosis is confirmed, the hematomas are removed.
