PURPOSE: A hub for a washing machine is provided to uniformly form a power transmitting part for the rotation of a tub by contacting the tub with the hub connected to the tub to transmit rotation power at a wider region. CONSTITUTION: A hub(30) contacted and fixed to the bottom of a tub(50) to transmit rotation power to the tub that is mounted in a washing machine is composed of a rotary shaft mounting hole(32) formed in the center to combine with a rotary shaft; a plurality of arm parts(34) radially extended around the rotary shaft mounting hole; a combining hole(36) formed at the arm part and combined with the bottom of the tub by a combining bolt; and a plurality of contact projections(38) protruded at the upside of the arm part and closely contacted to the bottom of the tub by bonding pressure when the hub is combined to the bottom of the tub through the combining hole. |
