A joint for connecting square pipes is provided to connect the square pipes promptly, easily, and firmly to improve the durability thereof. A connecting joint can be fastened by a pair of assembling members(102,104) having L-shaped bodies(10,20). Fastening holes are formed on surfaces of the bodies of the assembling members. Bent wing pieces(10a,20a) extend from both ends of the backs of the bodies to form assembling members. Perpendicular fastening members(1a,1b,1c) formed inside both ends and a corner of the joint fastens square pipes, with a pair of assembling members being engaged with each other through the fastening holes.
