The wedge shaped part of the sealing leg (2) slides in between door or window frame jamb (10) and adjoining insulation layer (14), the leg (2) being undercut (3) on the part furthest from the door frame (10). On the side facing the frame (10) the leg (2) has a co-extruded sealing element (7) set in a leg (1) recess. The sealing element deforms elastically so that it terminates flush with the plaster face (5) when the profile is installed. The element (7) is hollow or solid or again in dome section so that when installed the head part of the dome anchors via an elastic base part into recesses in the sealing leg (2).
