Folding shelf for an automobile

The shelf (1) has longitudinal articulations (5, 6) for permitting access to volume formed by a boot and located under the shelf, and transverse articulations (7, 8) for fractionating the volume under the shelf. A locking unit (11) of the transverse articulations is used to allow selectively associate of the parts of the shelf separated by the transverse articulations. Each transverse articulation is interrupted by longitudinal articulations, and the locking unit is used for selectively locking the transverse articulations.
