It is herein presented a metal sterilisable surgical tool destined for the removal of hip arthroplastic joints having their neck fragmented. Constitution: long shaft 1 bearing at its lower end a -shaped adaptor 2 the members of which have through homoaxial bores 3, a hammer 4 freely sliding onto the shaft 1 and striking with the assistance of the surgeon hand on the stirrup 5 encountered at the upper end of the shaft 1. Clinical embodiment: drilling of the femoral joint thickness with the purpose of creating a through hole 6 with diameter slightly greater than that of the bores 3 of the adaptor 2, fitting of the surgical tool on the broken joint and placing of a pin serving for the mutual holding between the tool and the joint and finally, gradual extraction of the broken implant by controlled successive impacts of the hammer 4 on the stirrup 5. |
