A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively blow out an exhaust gas by providing an air path for the exhaust gas on an upper end of a bridge barrier rib, which is arranged between single and double barrier ribs. A plasma display panel includes plural substrates, plural barrier ribs(114), plural discharge electrode pairs(103), and a fluorescent layer(117). First and second substrates(101,102) are arranged to face each other. The barrier ribs are arranged between the first and second substrates and define discharge cells. The discharge electrode pair is arranged between the first and second substrates. The fluorescent layer is formed in the discharge cells. Spacing is formed on the barrier rib. A bridge barrier rib having a ventilating path is formed on the spacing.
