The unit has an absorption element (12) that absorbs water produced by condensation at a level of a condenser (7) which operates in a reversible manner. An electrical resistor (13) heats the element (12) and evaporates the absorbed water. Operation of the resistor is adjusted in an automatic manner or by an operator. The resistor is placed inside the element. An independent claim is also included for an air conditioning system comprising an interior unit and an exterior air conditioning system.
