A driving circuit for an LCD device is provided to enhance the quality of display images by supplying a source voltage having a frequency corresponding to the amount of data variation of the display images. A driving circuit for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes n division circuits(200-1,200-2,200-3,-,200-n), a switching unit(300), a source voltage generator(100), a timing controller(400), and a switching controller(500). The n division circuits output different distribution voltages by distributing an input voltage. The switching unit includes first through n switches which are connected to the first through n division circuits. The source voltage generator includes n frequency setting stages connected with the n switches and a voltage oscillator for generating a source voltage having a frequency supplied from a frequency setting stage which is selected from the n frequency setting stages using the input voltage. The timing controller includes a data comparator and a selection signal generator. The data comparator compares data of previous with current frames, and measures data variation amounts according to the comparison. The selection signal generator generates selection signals according to the result of the data comparator. The switching controller receives the selection signals and controls switching of one of the n switches corresponding to the selection signals.
