An optical lens and a camera module with the same are provided to reduce a manufacturing process time and the cost of materials by forming the optical lens composed of a focus variable lens and a wafer lens on a wafer. An optical lens includes a focus liquid crystal lens and a wafer lens. A focus of the focus variable liquid crystal lens is changed. The wafer lens is formed on at least one selected from upper and lower surfaces of the focus liquid crystal lens. A refractive index of a center part of the wafer lens is different from that of an edge thereof. The focus liquid crystal lens includes a first transparent substrate(310), a first conductive electrode(320) formed on a front surface of the first substrate, a liquid crystal crystalline layer(330) disposed in a upper portion of the first electrode in which liquid crystal molecules are orientated, a second transparent substrate(340) formed in a upper front surface of the liquid crystal crystalline layer, and a second conductive electrode(350) formed in a upper portion of the second substrate to expose a upper center of the second substrate.
