A barrel and a polishing apparatus having the same are provided to considerably increase the number of an object to be processed treatable through one time work. A barrel comprises a barrel port and a liner(76a). The barrel port has at least one chamber(CH) into which an object to be processed is put. The liner coats the chambers of the barrel port. The chamber is divided into a plurality of spaces by partitions(210a,210b). The barrel port includes a body(72) having an inlet port(722) to constitute a part of the chamber and includes a cover(74) to constitute a remaining part of the chamber. The liner is provided to the body. The partitions are integrally formed with the liner provided to the body. The inlet port of the body has a size enough to allow the liner to be sufficiently inserted into or withdrawn from the body. |
