<p>PURPOSE: A coil telescope correcting apparatus with split pressing plates having different rotation distance is provided to prevent scratches on the strip surface and distortion of the coil edge part generated by straight line motion of correcting plates when correcting telescope generated on inner and outer diameters of coil produced in hot rolling process. CONSTITUTION: In a telescope correcting apparatus comprising correcting plates positioned at both sides of coil to press the coil, driving cylinders attached to the rear side of the correcting plates to move the correcting plates side to side, and a skid for supporting the coil from a lower part of the coil, the coil telescope correcting apparatus with split pressing plates having different rotation distance comprises a rotation plate part comprising a plurality of circular rings(11a,11b,11c) which are rotated together with a telescope part of the coil, central plate(11d) positioned at center of the circular rings(11a,11b,11c), a circular ring fixing part(13) for supporting the outermost ring(11a) in the circular rings(11a,11b,11c), rotation rollers(12a,12b,12c) inserted between the circular rings(11a,11b,11c) and the correcting plates to support the circular rings(11a,11b,11c), a supporting roller installed at a lower part of the central plate(11d) to support the central plate(11d), and bearings(9,10,10a) inserted between the circular rings(11a,11b,11c); and a rotational skid installed at a lower part of the coil so that the rotational skid is rotated along with the coil and supports the coil.</p> |
