SEMICONDUCTIVE FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION AND ELECTRICAL WIRE MANUFACTURED USING THE SAME

A semiconductive flame resistant composition is provided to form a semiconductive flame resistant sheath body having excellent adhesion to a nonpolar resin as well as a polar resin-based composition, improved bulk resistance, flame resistance and low fuming property. A semiconductive flame resistant composition comprises: 100 parts by weight of a base resin comprising 10-30 wt% of any one resin selected from the group consisting of polyethylene resins, ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer resins and ethylene propylene resins, and 70-90 wt% of an ethylene copolymer resin; 5-50 parts by weight of high-structure carbon black having a specific surface area of 20-2,000 m^2/g as measured by nitrogen adsorption according to the BET method; and 30-150 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide as a flame retardant.
