<p>An air conditioner is provided to simplify a signal according to detected counter electromotive force generated through the driving of a compressor motor so that signal input or signal determination is easily achieved. A compressor provided in indoor units(20) discharges low-temperature and low-pressure gaseous refrigerant as a high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant by driving a motor(M) of the compressor using an inverter circuit. The motor is connected to a counter electromotive force detecting circuit. The counter electromotive force detecting circuit includes a counter electromotive force detector(10) and a comparator. The comparator applies a signal based on counter electromotive force to a controller(40). The signal is used to determine a position of a rotator of the motor and control the motor.</p> |
