A plasma display device is provided to reduce a weight of the plasma display device by removing a rear substrate from the plasma display device. A barrier rib(220) is arranged on a substrate(210) and defines plural discharge cells on the substrate. First discharge electrodes(230) are arranged in the barrier rib. Second discharge electrodes(240) are arranged in the barrier rib to be apart from the first discharge electrodes. A sealing member(250) is arranged to enclose the discharge cells with the substrate. A fluorescent layer(260) is arranged in the discharge cell. A discharge gas fills the discharge cells. A chassis(270) is arranged on the sealing member and contains a metal member.
