A vertical surface mounting connector is provided to enable a soldering holder to be soldered together with a terminal when the terminal is soldered on a PCB in a state that the soldering holder is mounted to a housing, thereby minimizing the processes of assembly to reduce production cost. A vertical surface mounting connector(30) includes a housing(32), a terminal(50), and a soldering holder(40). The housing is configured by an insulating material. A terminal mounting portion(34) is formed to penetrate the inside of the housing. A holder mounting portion(38) is installed in at least one side. The terminal is mounted to penetrate the terminal mounting portion of the housing. The terminal is soldered on a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(20) by a soldering portion(44) of an end portion exposed to the outside of the housing. The soldering holder is mounted to the holder mounting portion of the housing to be soldered together with the terminal when the terminal is soldered on the PCB.
