METHOD FOR THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL TISSUE CULTURE OF A CANCER CELL LINE USING AN EXTRACT OF BASEMENT MEMBRANE

A method for three-dimensional tissue culture of a cancer cell line by using the extract of basement membrane is provided to preserve influence on cells by maintaining the original structure of the cancer cell line, and maintain intrinsic in vivo function of the cancer cell line, so that the cancer cell line is used in histoculture drug resistance assay. A method for three-dimensional tissue culture of a cancer cell line by using the extract of basement membrane having the total protein concentration of 1-10 mg/ml comprises the steps of: cutting the cancer cell line, adding solubilizing solution into the cancer cell line, pulverizing the cancer cell line to solubilize it, centrifuging the cancer cell line solution and obtaining the supernatant to prepare the extract of basement membrane; gelating the extract of basement membrane to prepare a support; and placing the cancer cell line within the support containing the extract of basement membrane prior to gelation of the basement membrane extract and culturing it.
