A dishwasher is provided to reduce the number of parts, prevent lime materials from being stuck on a sensor member, and sense a water level and water temperature accurately by including a drain device having a drain pump and a drain motor in a steam generating device. A dishwasher comprises a tub, a steam generating device(200), and a sump. The tub is formed in a washing space. The steam generating device includes a case(210) for storing washing water for steam generation, heaters(250) contained in the case to heat the washing water, and a drain device for discharging the remaining water in the case. The sump, which is provided on the lower surface of the tub, supplies the washing water. The drain device is integrated with the case, and includes a drain pump(230) integrated on a side of the case and a drain motor(240) for driving the drain pump.
