<p>A backup power system is provided to supply power to a load without interruption even in a disconnection of a transmission line by forming an independent network until re-operation of the transmission line. A backup power system includes a first connection node, a second connection node(9), a third connection node, and a transmission line monitoring apparatus. The first connection node is connected to a consumer generation apparatus(5), an automatic switch including first switches(411,412) between the consumer generation apparatus and a transmission line(1), and a second switch(44) connected to a load(6). The second connection node is connected to the second switch, a third switch(43) between the transmission line and the load, and a fourth switch(45) connected to an independent inverter(7) having an energy storage device(71). The third connection node connects the first and third switches to the transmission line. The transmission line monitoring apparatus connects the consumer generation apparatus to the transmission line in parallel and opens the first switches in a failure of the transmission line.</p> |
