A transparent electrode film composed of an oxide including indium, zinc and tin and having a film thickness of 25nm or less. A transparent electrode film composed of an oxide including indium and zinc and having a film thickness of 30nm or less. The transparent electrode films having a high dielectric constant and a high transmittance, and an electronic device using such transparent films are provided. Since the transparent electrode film has a high refraction index, the dielectric constant proportional to the square of the refraction index can be improved, and as a result, response of liquid crystal molecules is improved. Therefore, a liquid crystal display having high response for displaying moving images is provided. |
