METHOD FOR TCP CONGESTION CONTROL USING CONSTANT CONGESTION STATE SENSING

A TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) congestion control method using a constant congestion sensing state is provided to be capable of performing a constant congestion sensing function by using two congestion windows having different time criteria, thereby obtaining bandwidths over minimum transmission rates. In slow start mode, a transmission side observes bandwidths as increasing size of the second congestion window by double every RTT(Round-Trip Time)(S100,S150). A congestion avoidance mode is performed(S250). In the congestion avoidance mode, constant congestion situations are sensed by using the second congestion window and average delay time, and size of the first and second congestion windows is controlled according to the constant congestion situations(S300-S550).
