SLIDER-CAM FOR CARD SOCKET

A slider-cam for a card socket is provided to cut the cover of a card socket to form an elastic plate instead of pins to operate the slider-cam by using interaction between the elastic plate and a cam formed in the slider, thereby making assembly operation easy and enabling automatic production. A slider(10) is mounted to a guide(4) formed in the socket frame of a card socket(2) and goes and returns along the guide in correspondence to the insertion and withdrawn of a card(5). A withdrawing spring(20) is mounted between the slider and the socket frame and presses the slider in a direction that the card is withdrawn from the card socket. A cam(30) is formed in the slider and has an admission path of a side, a center protrusion, and a recession path of the other side. An elastic plate(40) is formed to incline toward the slider by cutting a cover(6) of covering the socket frame at a position corresponding to the cam, and has a base portion(41) connected to the cover, a neck portion(42) long extended from the base portion, and a protrusion(43) formed in an end of the neck portion. The elastic plate moves along the path of the cam as the slider goes and returns. The protrusion of the elastic plate enters along the admission path as the slider enters, is hung, or is recessed. The elastic plate keeps the locking state of the card by being hung in the protrusion. The elastic plate is recessed along a recession path. An elastic card locking portion(50) is formed in the slider to maintain a state elastically that the card is inserted into the card socket.
