A road sweeper for cleaning up a median strip is provided to clean up garbage accumulated in the center of a road where a median strip passes through. A road sweeper for cleaning up a median strip includes a ventilator(100) installed to a vehicle and provided with an exhaust unit(102) to exhaust air and a suction unit(104) to inhale air, a hopper(110) provided with a closure structure to load with garbage and connected with the suction unit of the ventilator to form vacuum pressure in the hopper when a ventilator operates, a suction mouth(120) installed adjacent to a road and connected with the hopper by a suction pipe(122) to inhale garbage from a road surface, then to load on the hopper, a cleaner(130) located in the front of the suction mouth and composed of a cylindrical brush or a disk-shaped brush to collect garbage from a road, then to sweep away to the suction mouth, a damper(140) provided with an inflow hole connected with the exhaust unit of the ventilator to make the air discharged from the ventilator flow inward, and a first outflow hole and a second outflow hole connected with the inflow hole selectively, an exhaust pipe(150) connected with the exhaust unit of the ventilator together with the inflow hole of the damper to exhaust the air discharged from the ventilator to the outside, and a first hose(162) and a second hose(164) connected with the first outflow hole and the second outflow hole of the damper respectively.
