A food waste vacuum drying equipment is provided to use the equipment conveniently by simply installing the equipment in a space under a sink and hygienically minimize the amount of food waste to be discharged by completely removing water from food waste without crushing food waste, and a controlling method of the food waste vacuum drying equipment is provided. A food waste vacuum drying equipment comprises: a food waste vacuum drying part(2) installed under a sinkhole(1) of a sink to discharge the dried food waste after collecting and drying food waste(17); a vacuum pump(5) which is connected to one side of the food waste vacuum drying part by a suction pipe(3), and which has an exhaust pipe(4) linked to the other side thereof to compress, suck, and discharge air in the food waste vacuum drying part and water contained in the collected food waste; and a food waste collecting part(6) installed under the food waste vacuum drying part to collect the food waste that has been dried by the vacuum pump. The food waste vacuum drying part includes: a body part(10) of which top and bottom faces are opened, which has a sealing rubber packing(7) fixed to upper and lower ends thereof, and in which a heating coil(8) is embedded; upper and lower covers(11,12) which are installed closely to top and bottom portions of the body part, of which one sides are operated as rotary axes to open and close the top and bottom portions of the body part; an agitation motor(14) attached to one side of the body part through a quad-ring to rotate an agitation vane(13) formed on a bottom part of the food waste vacuum drying part; and a control circuit installed at a suitable position of the body part to supply a power source to the vacuum pump, the heating coil, sensors(9,16), the agitation motor, and motors(19,20) and control the same. Further, the sealing rubber packing is a silicon-ring. |
