The utility model relates to the detector signaling bands meant for safe exploitation of gas distribution systems. The detector signaling band consists of a brightly coloured polymer strip with a conductor built-in therein, as conductor is used a soft metal foil with the width L determined according to formula L=(2,5à4,0)/h, where h û the foil thickness, (2,5à4,0) û the empirically obtained value, at the foil thickness in mm, 0,02<=h<=0,20, the strip of the metal foil is isolated and may be stratified. The manufacture of the detector signaling band, according to the claimed utility model, permits to essentially improve its service properties.
