<p>The flexible plastics packaging bag has a single wall enclosing a space (14) for a substance which may give off gas. The gas pressure relief system consists of a double-wall zone with holes (12) for pressure relief in the inner wall (5). Molded projections may act as spacers for the outer wall (6) defining a gas escape zone (4). The edges (2,3) of the outer wall are held in place by welded or glued seams (7,8). A section of welded seam contains a separating material (11) and may give way to release the gas if the pressure builds up.</p> |
