An apparatus for driving a laser generator is provided to communicate between a transmitter mounted to a footing and a receiver mounted to the laser generator by wireless, thereby improving user's convenience during work. An apparatus for driving a laser generator(1) includes a footing(10), a transmitter, and a receiver(30). The transmitter includes a transmitting unit(21), a switch(S1~S4), and a transmitting signal processor. The transmitting unit enables wireless transmission in all directions. The switch outputs a command signal to the transmitting unit. The transmitting signal processor processes the command signal received from the switch and transmits the processed command signal through the transmitting unit. The receiver includes a receiving unit(31) and a receiving signal processor. The receiving unit enables wireless reception in all directions. The receiving signal processor processes a command signal received from the receiving unit and outputs a driving signal for driving the laser generator. The receiver is mounted to the lower part of the laser generator. The transmitting unit of the transmitter is plural light emitting devices which are arranged at regular intervals in the whole of the side edge of the footing. The receiving unit of the receiver is plural light receiving devices which are arranged radially and in parallel with the ground in the lower part of the laser generator. |
