The prosthesis (1) has a screw shaped trapezo-scaphoid component (2) with a thread body screwed in the scaphoid (102) and a cylindrical shaped head defining a low slope and cone shaped internal cavity. An intermediate component (3) has a cone shaped endfitting and a spherical joint head at two ends, respectively, where the endfitting is inserted in the internal cavity. A metacarpal component (4) has a part forming a medullary rod inserted in a medullary cavity in a metacarpal (101), and a spherical joint cavity cooperated with the spherical joint head.
