PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate selection, non-selection and inversion voltages to be supplied to scanning electrodes by using one power source. SOLUTION: A scanning electrode voltage correction circuit 1 outputs the selection voltage to put the scanning electrodes S1, S2, S3 into a selection state, a non-selection voltage to put these electrodes into a non-selection state and the inversion voltage for applying a reverse bias voltage to electron emission elements 2011 to 2016 in synchronization with the operation of the switching group of a scanning electrode selection circuit 5. Also, the circuit outputs the non-selection voltage or inversion voltage in a blanking period which is a non-light emission period. Further, the circuit is operated by one power source 3.
