DRIVING CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD

A driving control apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to increase light quantity by filtering a voltage applied to a magnetron through a filter to supply stable DC voltage and current to the magnetron. In a driving control apparatus, an output voltage detecting unit(300) detects voltage applied to a magnetron(140) and compares the detected voltage with a reference voltage to output a constant voltage control signal based on the comparison result. Driving control units(180,230) output pulse signals whose duty ratios are changed according to the constant voltage control signal. A converting unit(400) converts the voltage applied to the magnetron into DC voltage and applies the converted DC voltage to the magnetron. Synchronization signal generating units(190,240) detect switch voltages of inverters(110,120) and generate synchronization signals by using the detected switch voltages.
