A method of producing eggs containing GABA by mixing mulberry extract and laying hen feed, fermenting with a mixed culture of lactic acid bacteria and a yeast fungus and feeding the obtained fermented feed to laying hen is provided to obtain eggs containing GABA having an effect of promoting brain cell metabolic function while inhibiting cell colonization of stroke, colon cancer and large intestine cancer cell. The branches and leaves of mulberry are extracted at 80 to 100deg.C for 5 to 10hr. The mulberry extract is mixed with laying hen feed and fermented with a mixed culture of lactic acid bacteria and a yeast fungus at 40 to 50deg.C for 2 to 5 days. The prepared fermented feed is mixed with laying hen feed in a weight ratio of 0.5 to 2:1. The obtained feed is fed to laying hen in an amount of 400 to 800g per day for 5 to 10 days.
