An open show case is provided to reduce the consumed power by securing a lighting effect as if plural lighting devices are installed in a show room and to prevent cooling efficiency from being decreased by thermal load. An open show case(1) has a show room(11) in an insulating wall(2) and forms the cold air curtain at a front opening(12) of the show room by ejecting the cold air from cold air ejection ports(16,17) installed at the upper periphery of the front opening of the show room and sucking the cold air from cold air suction ports(18,19) installed at the lower periphery of the opening. The open show case is composed of: a canopy(33) projected toward the front side from the upper front end of the insulating wall; a reflecting plate(45) installed in the canopy and positioned in the front of the cold air ejection port; and an LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp(40) installed at the reflecting plate. The light emitted from the LED lamp lights up the inside of the show room. |
