A caller information providing system in a wired/wireless communication network is provided to send a photograph image of a caller and caller image information generated according to caller's choice to a terminal of a called part when a call connection is requested. A caller information providing system in a wired/wireless communication network includes a service providing server(100) and a communication network server(200). The service providing server includes a database storing user image information and status information received from a user terminal and a service controller for providing caller image information generated by combining the user image information and status information selected by the user terminal with the telephone number of the terminal to the communication network server. The communication network server registers the caller image information with the telephone number and provides the caller image information to a terminal of a called part when the user terminal requests call connection. |
