FORMING SHEET AND METHOD OF LIGHT WEIGHT ABSORBING AND EXCLUDING OF SOUNDS FOR DAMPING USING CORK

A lightweight damping foam sheet for sound absorption and insulation using cork and a manufacturing method are provided to reduce the production cost without separately applying vibration removing and sound absorbing sheets and to improve the fuel efficiency of a vehicle by making the sheet lightweight. A lightweight damping foam sheet for sound absorption and insulation using cork is produced by mixing an adhesion binder of 100~200wt.%, a fiber filler of 5~10wt.%, and quicklime of 3~10wt.% with cork powder of 100wt.% and extruding the mixture(S10,S20). The compressed sheet is heated, fused, and foamed at the predetermined thickness. The cork powder has the moisture content of 0.1~0.5% and mesh size of 40~100. The adhesion binder is one of polybutene, asphalt, latex, and synthetic rubber.
