<p>The invention relates to a worm cutter provided with teeth plated with hard plates, with concave or concave-convex profile, used especially in the wood working operation. According to the invention, the cutter consists of a tubular cylindrical body (1), which has disposed, along the entire generatrix circumference, a number of 12 teeth (2) aligned on two worm-like loops, at equal intervals in relation to one another, which alternate with 12 discharging channels (a), each located within the interval between two consecutive teeth (2), each tooth (2) having a longitudinally cut pocket (b), wherein there is longitudinally located and fastened a hard plate (3), in the longitudinal plane the hard plates (3) having processed a concave profile (p), and transversally, there is processed a worm-like circular channel (c) with two beginnings, which has a depth equal to the height of the teeth (2), by processing this circular channel (c), on the longitudinal axis, there being formed more teeth (2') which are plated with a number of hard plates (3'), each of them having a concave profile (p) so that the initial profile (p') of the tooth (2) is divided into fragments of concave profile (p').</p> |
