<p>An open show case is provided to prevent an electric leakage caused by dew, by effectively lighting up the faces of articles displayed on each shelf although lighting tools are not installed at the underside of each shelf. An open show case has a show room in the insulating wall and forms the cold air curtain at a front opening of the show room by discharging the cold air from cold air ejecting ports formed at the upper edge of the front opening of the show room and sucking the cold air from cold air suction ports formed at the lower edge of the opening. The open show case is composed of a hand rail installed at the upper end of a front wall(2C) of the insulating wall positioned at the outer side further than the cold air suction port; a reflecting unit installed at the hand rail; and an LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp(40) mounted on the reflecting unit. The light emitted from the LED lamp lights up the inside of the show room.</p> |
