A device for indicating replacement time of an air filter is provided to replace the air filter at optimum time by showing the replacement time on a displaying unit, when the amount of accumulated dust at the air filter exceeds a reference value. A device for indicating replacement time of an air filter comprises an input unit(110), an air pollution level calculating unit(120), an air inflow time calculating unit(130), an inflow wind force calculating unit(140), a displaying unit(160), and a control unit(150). Traveling rate of a vehicle in an urban area and a suburban area is input to the input unit. The air pollution level calculating unit calculates pollution level of the air flowing into the air filter according to traveling rate of the vehicle input to the input unit. The air inflow time calculating unit calculates time for which air flows into the air filter. The inflow wind force calculating unit calculates wind force of air flowing into the air filter. The displaying unit shows replacement time of the air filter. The control unit integrates amount of supplied and accumulated dust at the air filter based on values provided by the air pollution calculating unit, the air inflow time calculating unit, and the inflow wind force calculating unit, and then informs replacement time of the air filter through the display unit, if the amount of the dust accumulated on the filter exceeds a reference value.
