A method for manufacturing a display panel is provided to prevent alignment errors from be generated between the first display cells and the second display cells by individually splitting the first display cells from the first substrate and aligning them with the second display cells of the second substrate in a one-to-one ratio. The first substrate(100) having the first display cells(110) is cut and split according to the first display cells. On the second substrate(200) having the second display cells(210), the split display cells are aligned with the second display cells in a one-to-one ratio. Then the split display cells are combined with the second display cells. As the second substrate is cut according to the second display cells, a plurality of display panels are formed.
