Prefabricated wall sections (3) are erected at right angles to the slab, at its edges (21). In novel design, the prefabricated concrete wall section is made from water-impermeable concrete. A joint seal (4) is installed at the first butt joint between slab and wall section, and/or at the second butt joint between the wall and a further prefabricated wall section (3). Strip seal (43) is used. The length, width and/or thicknesses of the joint seals at the first butt joint (41) and the second butt joint (42) differ from each other and/or differ in form.
