PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opposed-to-piston disc brake for suppressing the noises and abnormal sounds of a brake by suppressing the useless movement of pads arranged both inside and outside a disc rotor. SOLUTION: On a caliper 12 of the opposed-to-piston disc brake device, torque frames 14a, 14b are each unmovably assembled. The torque frames 14a, 14b have mounting holes 14a1, 14b1 in which the pads 15a, 15b are mounted in the state that their movement to the radial and rotating directions of the disc rotor 11 is restricted and their movement of the axial direction is permitted. Braking force generated with the pads 15a, 15b in slide contact with the disc rotor 11 is accepted via the torque frames 14a, 14b by the caliper 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
