A photographic camera having adjusting devices for diaphragm aperature and exposure time, adapted to be adjusted by means of a single setting member is characterized by the feature that each adjusting device includes a pivotal lever, which is adapted to be pivoted by means of a control cam connected with the single setting member. As shown, the single setting ring 5 has coupled thereto for rotation therewith a cam bearing disc 11, cam 11a of which is engaged under loading of a spring 15 by a pin 14 on a lever 13 which is pivoted on one end of a shaft 12 and forms part of the exposure time adjusting device, and cam 11b of which is engaged by a pin 16 of the diaphragm adjusting device. Fixed to the other end of shaft 12 is a further lever which co-operates with the toothed segment of a conventional gear retard mechanism to control in known manner the exposure time. The pin 16 is carried by a segment lever 18 which is pivoted at 17 and controls a spring urged diaphragm adjusting ring 20 by way of a pin and slot connection 19, 20a. Two setting ranges of the setting ring 5 are provided, one for daylight exposures and the other for flash exposures, the shutter in this latter range being maintained at the lowest speed available. The ring 5 may be arranged to co-operate with photoelectric exposure determining means in known manner.</p> |
