A door closer is provided to stop a door as the door rotates open or close by causing a steel ball to engage with one of grooves of a rotative valve as the rotative valve rotates. A door closer comprises a housing(100), a shaft(110), a rotative valve(120), a first cover(130), a spring winding member(140), a power spring(150), a spring fixing member(160), and a second cover(170). The housing includes a cylindrical main body comprising a mounting part formed at the bottom; and first and second openings formed at the top. The shaft is located at the second opening at one end, and located at the first opening at the other end. The rotative valve is located at the first opening and rotates along the inner surface of the main body. The first cover seals the first opening. The spring winding member is inserted in the second opening. The power spring is assembled to the spring winding member and is wound as the spring winding member rotates. The spring fixing member is inserted in the power spring. The second cover seals the second opening. |
