The air conditioning system (1) has a cooling cycle (20) with multiple heat exchangers (4,24), through which a cooling medium is guided for a heat exchange with the air flowing through it. Another heat exchanger (16) is provided in the cooling cycle, which serves for heat exchange with a cooling cycle formed separately from cooling cycle (13). An independent claim is also included for method for operating an air conditioning system.
