PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor wherein occurrence of surging is appropriately inhibited, and performance in low flow-rate region is improved. SOLUTION: The centrifugal compressor 1 includes an impeller 3; and a casing 10 wherein the impeller 3 is held; a first passage R1 is formed in conjugation with the impeller 3 so as to send air (A); and a second passage R2 in order to send partly the air (A) in the downstream of the impeller 3 in the first passage R1 to the upstream of the impeller 3.
