A double-glazed window (20) has two glass panels whose separation is maintained by a profiled flexible seal (1) with an inner cavity (7) that is wider adjacent to the gap between the glass panels. The seal has a heat conductivity of less than 0.3 W/(mK). Three sides of the seal bear a strengthened mantle (6). The link segments (5) define two concave interfaces between the sidewall and the seal. - The chamber (7) has linked first and second zones, the first being adjacent to the upper wall (4) and the second being transversely wider (X) than the first. The second chamber extends at right angles between the concave interface and the base wall (2) to the sidewalls (3).
