<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a power source from being turned on unexpectedly and to turn on/off the power source more easily, by turning off the power source with a simple method without fail, in a power off method for an information terminal apparatus having communication functions. <P>SOLUTION: A power off setting program is recorded in a memory part beforehand, and when turning off the power source or when setting power-off, the power off setting program is initiated. When there is no timer function setting, the power source is turned off, as it is, and when there is setting, setting contents are notified for easy change (setting off). A power on/off program is recorded in the memory beforehand and when turning off the power source, the power source is turned off by a second input means. When on the power source is turned on, the power source is turned on by a third input means.
