FIELD: food industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: Bifidobacterium adolescentis strain MC 42 is activated on sterile physiological solution NaCl at 38C during 18 hours. CFU in activated biomass makes 2.3*108 CFU/g. After that it is used for inoculation of sterilised defatted milk where natural mixture of oligofructose and inuline Beneoä Synergy 1 (BS1) is used as bifidobacterium growth promotant and added in quantity 3 g/l.
