PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face mask and a face mask apparatus which enables the efficiency in the application of an electric signal to be increased, and the maintenance to be facilitated. SOLUTION: This electrode for face mask is attached to the face mask 2 which is used for applying the electric signal being output from an electric signal outputting apparatus to the face. The electrode for face mask is equipped with an electrode terminal 41 for applying the electric signal, a contact section 50 which is installed on the electrode terminal 41 and is brought into contact with the face, and an intermediate section 47 which is installed on the electrode terminal 41 and in a space between the contact section 50 and the face mask 2. The contact section 50 consists of a humid element which can contain a liquid. The intermediate section 47 consists of a permeation preventing member which prevents the liquid contained by the contact section 50 from permeating the face mask 2 side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
